Leon, Mexico

Welcome to the German Pavilion at EXPOMAQ 2018!

The EXPOMAQ is the exclusive forum for the machine tool and metalworking technology in Mexico in 2018 and in the Central America region. It is the essential showcase for metalworking machine tools, metrology, tools and tooling, sheet metalworking, factory automation, as well as related products, services and technologies. Machine tools and related production technology “Made in Germany” are the key to success, particularly in times of globalized change. They supply industrial manufacturers in Mexico and the whole NAFTA region with technologies of innovative excellence, which help them to meet and master the challenges of both the present and the future, thus guaranteeing sustained technical progress. Besides the products themselves, it’s primarily the single-sourced solutions and services that have crucially underpinned the sector’s magnificent reputation for generations now, and will continue to do so in the future. The automotive industry and its component suppliers, the electrical and electronics industry, the mechanical engineering, the producers of metal products, medical technology, job shops, the aerospace and other vehicles building industry, and many, many more, they all benefit from their partners in the German machine tool industry.

This year the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) in cooperation with the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) are supporting a German group participation, giving 19 companiesthe platform to present their excellent products and to offer their renowned services to key players and decision makers from all over Mexico and and the whole NAFTA region. VDW as the association of German Machine Tool Builders and one of the initiating associations for the German participation is accompanying the German delegation and providing professional advice.

On behalf of all exhibitors, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) and the supporting association, the German Machine Tool Builders’ Association (VDW), wish all participants a successful show and extend a warm welcome to all visitors of the German Pavilion at booth 1801 in hall C4.
